The global pandemic brought air travel to a grinding halt, but it didn’t distract from the visionary infrastructural developments underway in Hong Kong. Airport Authority Hong Kong’s mammoth “Airport City” project is taking shape with a view to securing Hong Kong as the region’s international aviation hub… a Double Gateway to the world and the Greater Bay Area. Game-changing projects outlined in the “Airport City” blueprint, involving investment of over HK$40 billion (US$5.12 billion) and targeting 2030 for completion, will re-define the travel-business-lifestyle relationship in the 21st century.
